Uetliberg Hiking Tour

Europe’s steepest normal-gauge adhesion railway brings us to the top of Zurich’s 871-metre (2,850 feet) high local mountain Üetliberg, which provides fabulous views on the city, the lake of Zurich, and the Alps. From there we will start our 7-km (ca. 4.5 miles) hike along a panoramic trail, which leads us through forests to Felsenegg. We will then return to Zurich by cable car and train.

Note that the hiking trail requires a certain level of physical fitness as well as sturdy footwear. Participants should bring along their own picnic to eat on the train or on the walk.
